Your child is learning characteristics of objects like size, shape, color. They like to experiment to find out how things work and what happens when you do things with them. They keep trying if their first attempt to do something doesn’t work. They go to a different room to find something they left there. They can screw open a container. They use an object for a pretend purpose.

Today’s activity: Model using an object for a pretend purpose: Pretend to feed blocks to toy animals, or comb your hair with a stick.
