Resources for parents who want to help their child's communication development. Learn more at www.TheInteractionCoach.com

Your child can learn to expect that something will repeat when you use the word “more.” Use it during an interactive game to show that something happens after that word.

Also be observant of your child’s actions when you pause. You can start to shape a movement into a consistent gesture that shows they want more.

Today’s activity: During an interactive game when you are about to take your turn, pause with anticipation and say, “More” before you take your turn.
